Fam time

A new family pic

As all of you know we just love to spend time as a family... if it is a walk, a trip to the park, playing Legos, or cooking something yummy; we all get involved. When the weather is nice the outdoor fun trumps all. But, with crazy spring weather we have had a lot of both. Both boys find new favorites every day and even though Jason is getting older he still is learning new things at every moment. He is really into making up songs now. Jason is our performer. If we are in the house he says "Mom... You have got to see this." and then he breaks into song and dance. When we are at the park, he pretends that he is not only a singer and dancer, but a fireman.... Oh the songs are a kick. Too bad the camera is never handy at the right moment. As for Jake he is going through the good chair bad chair stage. For those of you that have been reading this blog from the beginning you may recall the blog about Jason and the chair.... well Jake is there. We have this great Spongebob table and chair set in the dining room for the kids. Jacob takes down one chair at a time, pushes it all over the house and then wrestles it.... It is classic. One moment him and the chair are friends and the next moment he is hitting it with a hammer. He actually crawls to the toy box, gets out the toy hammer, goes back to the chair, and then he takes his sweet revenge on it. The kicker is that once he thinks he is done with the first chair, he moves on to the second and repeats the process. These kids are probably the funniest two people I know....... Another quick little funny tidbit... Colin taught the dogs how to use a doggy door over the weekend. Moe thinks it is beneath her and Mae likes her new found freedom. You can only imagine what this training session must have looked like, but no pics to elaborate. Here are some pics of us at the park and of Jake and the chair.

A break in the war on the chair.

This boy lives for days at the park.

Jake has to have a pacifier in because he thinks dirt is a vital food group.

Look at me!!

Hi

Colin holding onto Moe so that she doesn't run and Jake trying to eat as much sand as quickly as he can....

If you look closely you can see Jason making his way up to the slides.

Me and Jake enjoying the evening.
