Funny men

I have shown you pictures, but haven't told you many stories about the boys. As I always say... Jake smiles ALL OF THE TIME!!!! He is so happy he now rolls over as much as he smiles. It won't be long before the boy is a little bowling ball rolling all over the house. I say bowling ball because he is also huge... very very large. He fits right in with his big brother. Speaking of his big brother... that boy is full of it. We have hit what is actually the terrible two's. I didn't know what that was until it was here. By the way, it isn't exactly a fun thing when he is always telling me NO!!! He just says it because I am the one suggesting something... but grandma says the same thing and he is happy go lucky about it. Jason also loves to help grandma out a lot. He has his own special way of doing things though. Here is a good one...... Last week, he helped mom pick up dog doody. Mom was using a shovel and he was anxious to assist her. But since he didn't have a shovel, he just picked it up with his hand.... KIDS ARE GROSS!!!!.... oh and another rule has been added to the book.... We only pick up dog poo with a SHOVEL!!! That rule book is growing rapidly. I hope all of you are doing well. Take care and I will post more soon.............

The cutest kids EVER!!!!

My two little men.

I know that parents always think their kids are the cutest... but mine REALLY are. They are also very smart and advanced for their age. Ok, I know that not everyone will agree with me on this one, but just look at the pictures and you will know why I say what I do.

A very tired and sick Jason.
Things have been going well for us. As I last reported we are just enjoying our time here in Meeteetse. I know this is a very special opportunity for us so we are taking full advantage of it. Jason did get another ear infection, but is recovering well... he is such a tough little man. He only has a few potty accidents now. I am so thankfull for that and will even be more so when we don't have any. Jacob has started eating baby food. My youngest is really growing up fast. he loves to smile and visit. Laughing is really his specialty. His grandma just can't stand to not pick him up when he looks at her with that big gummy smile..... I don't think she is the only one. Colin is still loving his job and the drive isn't so bad with a car that gets great mpg. We also got him XM so he can listen to as much baseball as he can stand... a good investment since he will never be tired of baseball.

Carrots..... YUMMY!!!! (he really does get a lot in his mouth, almost one container each sitting.)
Working those hands like a pro.
Jason hanging out.... having a little V8... and watching a few toons....

I hope all of you are doing well. I will continue to post pics of my growing... advanced... adorable little men. Take care.........................

big boys

Hi again. I promised some pics of the boys.... so here goes.........

There isn't much new here... just the same old stuff.... Colin did get home though. We are very happy for that. He will go out on a gas well soon, but for the time being he is here. The house hasn't sold yet, but it looks like there might be takers soon. I will keep you posted and show off more pics soon. Have a great weekend.

Too Long!!!

Ok, I am back..... Sorry for the gap in blogs, but things have been busy. Now for a summary of what we have been doing. As I last reported we were coming up to Meeteetse to stay with my parents....... well, we did just that and are still here. Thank goodness mom and dad are soooooo very welcoming and wonderful. It has given me and the boys a good chance to catch up with some people. Colin got to work right away and started spending all of his time out in the field on the 17th. He has only been back a couple of days since. He stays there in a trailer at the rig.... so we haven't really seen him since we got to Meeteetse. Hopefully he will be around more soon, we sure do miss him. The boys and I are doing well. Jason and Jacob are almost finished with the summer reading program here in M-town at the library..... Jason and Jake just love books so we spend a lot of time at the library. Every Tuesday morning we go to story time and the boys love it. Jason is also working on potty training. He is getting very good at it and soon we will have him in big boy underwear. Yesterday Mom and I took the boys to there first movie in the theater.... Wall-E... very cute. They both did very well. Also Colin and I purchased a little car.... it is a 96 saturn... very good on gas and was a great deal. It will pay itself off fast. Not much else going on... our house still hasn't sold and we are hoping something happens soon. I will post pics of the boys later this week.. Jake is huge and starting to use his hands. Jason is a big boy too. I will have more soon. Take care................
