Enjoying the fun with my little men

The month of April has been wonderful. We have celebrated Jacob's birthday, Jason started soccer, and spring activities are in full swing.

Jason warming up for his first soccer game.

Jason loves to play soccer even though he spends more time dancing and waving when he is on the field than he does actually playing.

Jake cheering on Jason.

The preschool teacher has graciously invited Jake and I to join in on a few field trips and we happily excepted. We went to a sheep ranch to check out the lambs and we had the pleasure of participating in the Mini Relay for Life day.
Jake loves to "jump" on the trampoline although his feet never left it's surface.
Jake with his friends Ellis and Sophia. He loves to play with his friends.

Jason was so excited to release the balloons into the air.

Jason can jump like a pro.

Jason was coloring around one of his friends.

Jakers had to wear Jason's old shirt since it was purple day.

The Kiddie Kollege group!

When we aren't running around chasing the preschool kids we have been swimming and gardening. The boys have really turned into fish and want to go to the pool every day. The water is so warm and I am a true believer in the healing powers of the water.

On the gardening front we are getting more done every day. Some of the early plants are in the ground. Jason insisted we plant strawberries so that is what we did. He checks them every day. In the next few weeks we will be adding many veggies and we will have a lot of flowers around the house.

Spring is truly beautiful and we have been trying to spend as much time enjoying it. I hope all of you are doing well. Happy Spring!!

Jakes b-day party!!

Grandpa Moody gave Jacob a dog that really freaked him out at first but then he fell in love and has slept with it every night since.

Jake's Diego cake.

Jake got a cowboy hat from Grandpa Jay and Grandma Connie so they had to play cowboys.

Playing Cowboys means riding the giant dog like a horse.

Jake blowing out his candles.

Jakes party was a huge success. He had blast playing with his friends, cousins, and participating in all of the standard party events. It was complete with a Go Diego Go! cake and lighening McQueen plates. Colin had to work but we still had fun and took a ton of pics for him. Enjoy the pics!!!!

JAKE IS 2!

Hi again!! WOW it is true our baby is 2!!!!! We had a quiet celebration at home Monday with just us. Jake was still pretty tired from the Easter celebrations, but oh was it fun. March pictures

J-man posing for a great pic.

Jake loves that little truck of his.

With spring in full force we have really been trying to enjoy ourselves even more than usual. One day it is sunny and beatiful, the next day is raining, and BAM we are hit with snow. To pass the time we have been playing playing and playing some more. There have been great days for playground time and those days we have to settle for playing baseball and football in the house. Jason is just sure that the snow is mad at spring and the sun. It is difficult to convince him of anything different. Jake just wants to build a snowman.

Now that we have two football helmets football games get really rough at our house.

The Easter egg hunts have already started and the boys are going to finish this week as pros. I hope all of you are had a great March. Happy April to all of you. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Jake was so into getting Easter eggs that he ran to get more.

Jason was so happy after he gathered a ton of eggs at the Story Time Easter egg hunt.
