January fun

January has come in with a bang... It has been full of hunting and getting back into the swing of things after our long Christmas break. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

The boys recieved a very cool gift from Colin's cousin Megan. She made them dinosaurs!!! Jason named his Terri and Jake named his Rexy (they got their creative name giving skills from Colin and I). They love these new stuffed dinos so much that they sleep with them every night and even packed them with us on vacation. Pretty cool!! THANKS MEGHAN!!!

January marks the end of the duck season here in Thermopolis. Therefore Colin had to send it off with style. All season he has struggled with a gun misfiring and has been borrowing a friend's. Mom and dad and Jay and Connie went in with me to give Colin a grand birthday/ passing his PG exam gift. We gave him an Xtrema 2. This is his dream gun. If we had waited until his actual birthday he wouldn't have been able to take it out until next fall. So, we gave it to him early. Colin loves his new gun and couldn't have been more excited.

The last weekend of duck season was marked with a big final hunt and a weekend full of Ducks Unlimited fun. While the guys were hunting, things escalated quickly with the ladies and I ended up with red hair. I am thankful to say that it will wash out in 6-8 weeks. Hopefully I can wash it out in less than 4 weeks.

I hope all of you are having a great new year as well. Happy January!!! ENJOY!!!

End of 2010

We ended our 2010 with a bang. When we weren't traveling or celebrating Christmas, a birthday or our anniversary Colin was hunting. Jason even had a chance to go with him a couple of times.

Christmas was full of fun this year. We went to Powell Christmas eve for lunch with my side of the family and had a great time. The boys had to get a picture in front of the tree.

Jason, Chance, Lane and Jacob ready to open gifts.

When we got home Christmas eve we took a quick picture of the tree and got to bed before Santa came.

Our beautiful tree.

Opening gifts was so much fun on Christmas. The boys were so good this year and Santa knew it.

Jason's new shoes have a small yetti on the side. VERY COOL!
Christmas didn't mark the end of our 2010. We headed to South Dakota for some more family fun. Colin and I celebrated our 8th anniversary while we were there. It is difficult to believe that it has been 8 years. Thank you Colin! It has been wonderful and I can't wait to see what comes next. Love you Colin!!

Our week in South Dakota was full of laughter, games, great food, snow, gambling, and a lot of catching up. It was so nice to catch up with everyone.
Grandpa and Grandma with the grandkids, and great grandkids that were able to make it.

This is our whole vacation group.

We missed those that couldn't make it to the vacation house, but hopefully we can all make it next time. Who knows where we will go, but knowing us it will be fun.
Happy New Year to everyone! May it be full of joy and excitement for all of you. ENJOY!!!

Catch up Continued

December is our month of crazy. On top of Christmas there is Jason's birthday and our anniversary. Before the birthday wild came into full swing there was Jason's Christmas program.

Jason at the Kiddie Kollege for his Christmas program.

Santa and Mrs. Clause were at the program so Jake had to sit on Santa's lap.

After forgetting what he wanted to ask Santa for in the past, he remembered at his program.

Jason's class singing.

Jason was so excited to show off his voice.

With his Christmas program under his belt it was time for Jason't in class party.

Jake even got to go to the Kiddie Kollege to celebrate Jason's birthday with the class.

We weren't finished celebrating Jason's 5th birthday. Jason's party was pretty special this year. He had it at the fitness center. Colin and Jason took the Gottsche Adventure Bus around town to pick up his friends and start the party.

They played a game of Dance Dance Revolution.

Jason unwrapped gifts.

I don't want to forget the cake and ice cream. YUM!

I didn't get any pictures, but one of the highlights of the party was the zip line. It was an incredible day full of fun and laughter. AMAZING!!!

After all of the birthday fun we were back to Christmas. This year I worked hard to create three quilts for our siblings. After breaking two sewing machines, this was the result.

We haven't even made it to Christmas yet in the catch up posts, but just keep in mind there is more fun to come. ENJOY!!!

Catch up!!! Step 1

It has been a long time between posts once again... I APPOLOGIZE!!!!! Life is just too exciting. Now to share our exciting adventures with all of you.
I left off before Thanksgiving last. We got a chance to spend some time with Colin's family a couple of times around Thanksgiving. It was so much fun. We enjoyed great food and had a chance to see all three Moody boys together.

In preparation for the Christmas season we were excited to see the Capitol Christmas Tree come through Thermopolis. Jason even got a chance to sign the banner.

There was a lot of time for playing too.

Jason was so proud that he just hit Jacob with snow.

A day in the snow wouldn't be complete without snow angels.
Decorating the Christmas tree was a blast this year. The boys loved every second of it. Although the snow made it difficult to cut our own tree this year; Colin, Dave and Dad came through and got us a great one.
