Garden goodness

This year we didn't plant much, but the vegetables we did plant are flourishing. Jacob planted giant pumpkins and Jason planted cabbage. I planted jalapeƱos and banana peppers along with a few beans. The beans didn't make it due to grasshoppers but everything els is doing amazingly well.

The pumpkin in the back yard.

The pumpkin in the rocks out front.

Our little garden spot. The cabbage almost takes up the whole space.

Canning has been successful. It is nice to fill the carbonates again.

Our crops have been small, but they are good quality. The jalapeƱos are hotter than we have ever had in the past.

We also have a small peach tree in the front lawn. This year we got 5 peaches!

Jason's cabbages have been a hit. Moe even ate two of them. Here is a video of her attempting to eat a 3 rd.

Hope you are having a great start to fall. We sure are:-)

School!

Jason is officially a 1st grader. He was ready and loves his teacher:-). Our wild man is a big kid now.

Jacob was not happy that his brother had to go to school. He was a trooper though.

Every kid in Thermopolis takes this picture. We figured we had better join in on the fun.

Jacob recovered quickly from dropping his brother off at school. We spent that first day building Lego kits. Each day it is a little easier. Next week Jake gets to start school:-). Happy fall!

Ending the summer with a bang

Our boys are super heroes. They wear costumes to show others that fact. ;-)

We celebrated the last day of summer vacation with a day of slip and slide fun!

Even though we couldn't make is out to go camping that last weekend of freedom we made the most of it. There is nothing better than back yard camping complete with s'mores.
