Christmas

Christmas was a time for family. We decided to make the run around the basin to see all of our immediate family. We were able to see all of our siblings as well as our nieces and nephews. On Christmas day we stayed home and spent the day just the four of us. Here is our Christmas in pictures. What a great Christmas!

Jacob did a wonderful job singing in his first Christmas program! The boys got to see Santa too!

To make December even better we got a huge storm and got to play:)

When we are inside we find a lot of fun things to do as well. Here are the boys with their fort.

We are so excited for Christmas!

December fun and Christmas prep

As always we go through December like a whirl wind. This year we started the month with Jason's Christmas program. Here is a pic from our seats. Next time we will have to show up early so we don't have nose bleed seats. It was such a great program and Jason was amazing!

For Jennifer's birthday weekend we went Christmas tree hunting. Before we got to trees Jen and dad had to race! Jen won, although dad would like to believe he did.

Here are the 4 cousins grabbing a bite after they finished the hunt.

Here are the great hunters bring in their trophies.. Mom carried hers since dad was on picture duty for the day.

Here I am with mom and Jen. This is Jennifer's 33rd birthday! What a great way to spend it.

After we got our tree we went to an ugly sweater party. Ours weren't pretty, but we didn't have the ugliest. Next time.

Finally it was time to decorate the Christmas tree. The boys were pumped! They made it beautiful!

Merry Christmas! I will be posting many more pictures in the next few weeks.

November 2011

November was a blast! We went to a cowboys game with family.

The boys even met pistol Pete.

We cleaned the lawn up.

Jason's class had a thanksgiving feast.

When thanksgiving came around we stuck around the house and even had a family duck hunt. The boys loved the ducks, even when one came back to life. We dubbed her zombie duck.

Here is the almond sherry cake I made for our big dinner.

We finished out the month with Jason reading to us. Here he is reading to colin and Jacob. What a great time we had!
