HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

As Halloween approaches we dive in to all of the traditional activities, you know pumpkin carving and trick or treating. This year is more fun since Jason is really, I mean REALLY, into Halloween. Even though he knows very little about the Hulk, he chose to be him this year. It is quite a big deal. And for those of you that didn't know, the Hulk growls a lot. There is also the mandatory thing you must do with your arms... it is kind of a flex, but not really. I have to say that Jason is the best Hulk I have ever seen. In fact, he should do movies. Now Jake didn't have much say on his costume. This year he is Batman. It wasn't a difficult decision since it was the only warm costume with buttons for an easy diaper change that I could find. His costume is all about practicality, too bad he eats his mask.

The boys ready to hit the town and get some candy!!! (We went trick or treating in Cody last weekend)

Jason even wears his mask with his pj's..... he really wanted to wear it in the bath too.
Tonight we had The Great Pumpkin Carving Adventure. It is the title of the evening. Jason had a blast. He had to draw a funny face for his dad to carve, although the funny face resembled brown spots and squiggles on a pumpkin. Then when the carving was finished and the clean up was happening, Jason added more to the pumpkin by stabbing it a few times. Oh was he proud of his own carving skills..... even though the poor pumpkin looked like it had been brutally attacked with one of those safety pumpkin carving knives. Thankfully you can't see the wounds unless you are just looking much to close at the pumpkin.

The three of us working hard on our pumpkins.
Jake doing his part...... being very quiet and letting us finish the job.
I know Jason is without a shirt again, but this time is so he can stay clean... too bad he wipes his hands on his pants.

The final product by light, with the a very proud Jason.
Our pumpkins glowing.
I had to throw this last picture in just because it was cute. Colin was on the phone and Jason wanted to fish, so Colin put him on the car to do just that. Who knows, maybe he can catch something like and oil fish in the garage someday.

Happy Halloween to all of you. My next post will most likelly be from our new house. I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe weekend. Take care and I will look forward to stories of moving next time I share...... Bye for now.
