Today our youngest wild man is 4! We are really looking forward to this celebration! He is such a big kid.... Our very own Superman!

End of march and April spring fever

The end of March was full of fun! One main event was Chance's birthday. He was wrestling on his birthday and got second in the tournament.





The four cousins had a great time at the wrestling tourney.

April fools rolled in and took us off guard. After church the boys just had to play in their dress clothes. Before I would let them dress down it was picture time.
















The weather has been positively beautiful. Spring fever is in full swing. Even my plants think so.



These are daffodils I dug up by the old house last year. They were my great grandma's. They are just stunning.




The boys planted some seeds on march 13th. Jason picked cabbage seeds and Jacob picked giant pumpkin seeds. Here is a picture of them checking their progress using Colin's hand lenses.

I am sure we will have more storms... We welcome them. But, we are just so happy to see leaves on trees and see some flowers bloom. Happy spring!

March...... Wowza!

Many of you might know about our recent drama, but for those of you that don't I will give a brief update. Jason was kicked by another child "where it counts" last labor day break. The result was a severe communicating hydrocele. After many doctors appointments we finally got him repaired. He feels so much better! Within days our biggest problem was keeping him from running and jumping. His doctor was amazing! We are just so happy to have our guy back to his normal self. I am including a pic of him after the surgery.

On another note, march as been good to us. The weather has been amazing and we have been busy spring cleaning. The boys are still loving school and boy are they smart. Jason is reading like a champ. Jacob can write his name even better than before and is really getting great at identifying letters.

Jake filled out his good behavior chart at school! This was a big deal. He got treasure box and a gum ball.
